Trilha Aquática do Xingu

Description

With a length of 42 kilometers, the route passes through two important Conservation Units (UCs) managed by the Institute for Forest Development and Biodiversity of Pará (Ideflor-Bio): the Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS) Vitória de Souzel and the Wildlife Refuge (Revis) Tabuleiro do Embaubal. These areas are known for their rich biodiversity and their importance in the protection of Amazonian turtles. The Xingu Water Trail offers a route that connects the municipalities of Senador José Porfírio and Vitória do Xingu in the southwestern region of Pará, and is the result of a partnership between Ideflor-Bio and Xingu Adventure Company. The trail not only provides a unique ecotourism itinerary but also promotes sustainable interaction with local communities, such as Pirarucucuara, which will serve as a support point for adventurers. Services such as breakfast, lunch, and accommodation are offered by local residents.
