Description

Located in the village of Moinho, 14 km from Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the Angels and Archangels Waterfalls are two little-explored gems in the Chapada dos Veadeiros. The Angels Waterfall, the taller of the two, impresses with its large drop of 30 m and a deep pool surrounded by two rock walls. It is possible to swim to a rocky platform near the base of the fall. The Archangels Waterfall is smaller and features a pleasant pool with ample space to enjoy the visit. Here, it is also possible to go underneath the fall and sit on the steps formed by the rocks.
