Description

Monte Alegre Farm is located along RJ-125, on the border between Paty do Alferes and Miguel Pereira. The property was acquired in 1855 by the second Baron of Paty, who often received visits from his friend D. Pedro II when he traveled to Petrópolis via the Emperor's Path. The farm spans nearly 200,000 square meters and features magnificent and lush gardens, sculptures, and other works of art scattered throughout the property, as well as a chapel, swimming pool, lake, gallery, and art studio. Inside, you will find the Lúcia Miguel Pereira Sculpture Park.
