Panorama Ridge

Description

With its alpine meadows, glacial lakes, snow-capped mountains, extensive glaciers, and stunning panoramic views, Panorama Ridge is considered one of the most popular trails in British Columbia. The trail is primarily hiked during the summer when Garibaldi Lake is ice-free. Although it is possible to hike it in winter and spring, the route often requires travel through deep snow and, in most cases, an overnight stay. Therefore, the visit is more recommended during the summer months. Despite being approximately 30 km long, the trail can be completed in just one day. Still, those who prefer to split the effort can camp at Garibaldi Lake or Taylor Meadows, completing the hike over two days. Photos by Vicente Leal E. Fernandez.
