Trilha Cachoeira Casca D'Anta

Description

The Cachoeira Casca D’Anta trail is located in the Parque Nacional da Serra da Canastra, in the town of São Roque de Minas, in the district of São José do Barreiro. The Cachoeira Casca D'Anta is the first waterfall of the Rio São Francisco and has a 186 m free fall. In its upper part, before the drop, there are natural pools of crystal-clear, cool water, great for swimming, as well as a beautiful lookout over the lower part. It is worth a visit for the beauty of the region and the story of these important, crystal-clear waters.
