Trilha Cachoeira das Almas

Description

Don't be alarmed. There are no ghosts in the Circuit of Souls, but rather a lot of history. The region was a refuge for practitioners of African-based religions in the early last century. The trailhead also offers a curious dining option: the restaurant “A Floresta” is located in an old slave quarters where Major Archer's slaves took shelter while reforesting the area. If you prefer, the area is also excellent for picnics. After a 20-minute walk, there is already a beautiful reward to cleanse the soul. Swimming in the Cachoeira das Almas, which is four meters high, is allowed - and highly recommended. During the journey, be sure to observe the valley and its slopes, with the forests of Palmeira Juçara. Other attractions include the Ruins of Sítio Midosi and the springs of Midosi and Archer.

Trilha muito tranquila e gostosa. Criança faz tranquilamente. Muito lindo o trajetos com rastros da cachoeira. Porém, chegando na cachoeira das Almas perde um pouco a expectativa pois, só é uma cascata pequena e não uma cachoeira. rs

A trilha para chegar a cachoeira não tem obstáculos e não é uma trilha difícil, dá para fazer tranquilamente. A queda de água é pouca.

“Eu achei a trilha bem tranquila, não tinha obstáculos, acredito que qualquer pode fazê-la. Eu adorei a cachoeira e acho importante ressaltar que a queda d'agua diminui o volume quando fica sem chover durante um período no Rio, então não estranhe se tiver caindo pouca água.”
