Trilha das Árvores Gigantes
Description
The Trail of the Giant Trees was created to accommodate self-guided or monitored public visits. It is an interpretive trail, an important tool for conducting educational actions in natural environments, as it features signage, plant species identification signs, and interpretive panels. In addition to the interpretive aspect, the trail offers visitors the privilege of admiring the grandeur of towering and centennial trees such as Jequitibá-rosa, Jequitibá-branco, Peroba-rosa, Jatobá, Pau-d’alho, Figueiras, and other species that have long persisted, beautified, and stratified the forest canopy. It is also possible to contemplate the beautiful rapids of the Ribeirão dos Patos.
