Wedgemount Lake

Description

The trail leads to a glacial lake of intense turquoise color, located at the foot of the imposing Wedgemount Glacier and surrounded by rocky peaks, glaciers, and alpine fields. Although it does not have a very long distance, the significant elevation gain makes the route challenging. During the summer, it is possible to explore the shores of the lake, continue to the mountain hut (Wedgemount Hut), or extend the hike towards Tupper Lake, which lies just below the glacier.
