The Catarata dos Couros is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Chapada dos Veadeiros. The trail does not pass by just a single waterfall, but by a sequence of rapids, drops, and cascades along the Couros River, highlighting significant elevation changes and a substantial volume of water, especially during the rainy season. The scenery combines wide rock slabs, typical cerrado vegetation, and multiple viewpoints along the route. There are several deep pools for swimming, along with a narrow canyon at the end of the waterfall complex and a beautiful view of the valley where the Couros River flows.
