Section 10 of the long-distance trail Caminhos da Ibiapaba connects the agricultural community of Engenho to the Visitor Center of the Ubajara National Park. This section marks the definitive arrival at the top of the Ibiapaba plateau, taking travelers from the mountain farming areas to the heart of the region's most important tourist and ecological infrastructure. It is one of the most emblematic sections of the trail, as it marks the entrance to the region's most famous Conservation Unit. This is one of the best sections to spot the Bugio, also known as Guariba, and the Macaco Prego. Route

Unlike the previous section, which required a steep and technical ascent along the cliffs of the mountain range, Section 10 unfolds at the top of the plateau. The terrain becomes predominantly flat and well-defined, alternating between organic soil trails (with many dry leaves and roots) and walkways or paths structured for ecotourism. The landscape is marked by the exuberance of the Altitude Atlantic Forest. Thanks to the altitude and the humidity condensed on the mountainside, the vegetation is dense, with tall trees covered in bromeliads. The climate is noticeably cooler and foggier, especially in the early morning hours or late afternoon, completely changing the atmosphere of the journey compared to the arid land below. The hiker or cyclist traverses trails surrounded by highly preserved nature, and as they approach the end of the section, the trail passes near spectacular natural viewpoints overlooking the Ubajara Canyon and imposing waterfalls, such as the Cachoeira do Cafundó.
