Trecho 3: Praia das Conchas

Route

The trail starts in front of the private parking lot gate, passes by Damiana Cove, where you can find natural pools between the rocks. Be careful, because it can be dangerous on days with high and rough seas. At Mirante das Conchas, you can appreciate a great view: Praia das Conchas, Morro do Arpoador, Praia do Peró, and Ilha do Papagaio. At the right end corner of the beach, there is Ponta do Arpoador, it is recommended to be very careful on days with rough weather, not approaching the rocky shore. NORTH DIRECTION -Start in front of the private parking lot gate: Cação Street, 477 - Peró. This section can be reached from the urban bus line: 328 - Peró (via Cajueiro). SOUTH DIRECTION -Start on the limit of Peró Beach, Morro do Vigia and Conchas Beach . This section can be reached from the urban bus line: 328 – Peró (via Cajueiro), with a stop near Praia do Peró. At the right corner of the Peró Beach sidewalk, follow the beach to the right. Conchas Beach is only a 5-minute walk.
